Basic statistics deals with the measure of central tendencies (such as mean, median, mode, weighted mean, geometric mean, and Harmonic mean) and measure of dispersion (such as range, standard deviation, and variances).

Basic statistical methods include planning and designing the study, collecting data, arranging, and numerical and graphically summarizing the collected data.

Basic statistics are also used to perform statistical analysis to draw meaningful inferences.

MCQs Basic Statistics

A basic visual inspection of data using some graphical and numerical statistics may give some useful hidden information already available in the data. The graphical representation includes a bar chart, pie chart, dot chart, box plot, etc.

Companies related to finance, communication, manufacturing, charity organizations, government institutes, simple to large businesses, etc. are all examples that have a massive interest in collecting data and measuring different sorts of statistical findings. This helps them to learn from the past, noticing the trends, and planning for the future.

“Congratulations – you have completed MCQs from Basic Statistics. You scored 15 out of 15. Your performance has been rated as Good work!”

Sir, i took the test of 15 questions wherein two were attempted wrong but this still shows that i have scored 15 of 15…………..this calculations may have errors which needs to be rectified,

    • Read the sentence carefully. When you click the options again to get the correct one, it will be added to how many questions were completed. 13 out of 15 is obviously a good work. Try randomly answering the questions and observe the report.
Another thing that is worth to remember is the result just below the “Get results” button.

question number 8 may please be reviewed or may please provided the explaination about “how a provided after census still called primary data?

    regards

    • The meaning of “Data in the Population Census Report is:” is that what kind of data is used in the population census.

      • Ahmed Lakhan says:

sir, my apologies in advance i still disagree with the statement, actually whenever we say a “Report” which means a compiled data in report form or in final stage.

lets example on this, the enumerators during the recent census filled-up the census forms which were the primary data indeed but when a census report published by federal Beuearo of statistics, how can we say the data in report is still a primary data?

Sir, I am new learner hope you wont mind it.
